Eel is Morven School’s Totem!

Viv and Glenda’s students spent the entire day with Te Tuna Wahine and her EnviroSchools cohort, Hilary Isles.

School Decor

Not only did these natural artists get a good start on their tapestry section, but they also visited the spot where the local river runs into the Pacific.  We found shortfin eels, flounder, bullies, inanga (whitebait), and a variety of small invertebrates which the kids were able to later draw with amazing artistic abilities.

Thanks for a fun day, Eel Kids!
